When discussing outstanding DJs, Questlove of The Roots is undoubtedly one of them.
I had always wanted to watch Quest perform as a DJ live, and the chance presented itself when he was scheduled to appear at London's Jazz Cafe on the 20th July 2023. He performed a incredible and enjoyable three-hour set, and if it hadn't been three in the morning, I would have pleaded for more. Quest is a musician who truly understands his craft, and I would suggest to everyone to see him no matter what type of music you are into.
I did take a painted vinyl of him with me, this I created in 2019 and I was fortunate enough to have him sign it :)
